Our serving line begins across the street from our facility. A volunteer will motion cars into the lot where there are five possible parking lanes. Families will park, come to the awning to register then be given a cart preloaded with dry foods, frozen, dairy, drinks, and other items that may be available. Families are to load food from our cart to their vehicles. When we have available volunteers we will position them in the parking areas to assist. Plan on doing your part to make our pantry a success!
A Volunteers Story Begins
Forced to be Homeless by my family, I was finally able to secure my first apartment. I had no furniture, nothing but my clothes, and my truck, everything else was taken from me.
A Smith Chapel Board Member heard that I needed a couch. He told me to come and see one that was at Smith Chapel Thrift Store. When I did, I got to look inside the bay area where the volunteers were loading food boxes. I saw such unity as they worked the assembly line. No drama! If one person stepped away from a task another stepped up! No one had to be asked, no one had to be told, everyone wanted to work together!
My story with Smith Chapel Food and Clothing Mission began August of 2018, and I am still there, so proud of those I work with. So Thankful for the Love and Healing God Provides! God is Good, All the Time!!! Vickey

Complaint Department…
This is the manager on duty! He says (Woof) rules are rules, everyone is expected to bring ID and proof of residence. He supervises who comes and goes…(bark bark) – who are you and why are you here? He has mad skills on Drama Control…which we have None Of – Thanks to Simon!!
